His primary research interests include malaria control, insecticides, insect repellents, cockroach biology and management, and the application of insecticide‑treated bed nets for the prevention of cutaneous leishmaniasis (urban and rural forms). In recent years, Dr. Kazemi Mohammadi has focused on developing innovative methods for vector surveillance and community education programs aimed at reducing the burden of vector‑borne diseases in Iran and beyond
